y, three young black males on ten speed bicycles were spotted checking cars on Henry St. Mr. Pete Verdery and I followed them to the Forest Hills Apartments (Peachtree & Walton Way) were they lost us. They were found again at Buena Visa and Lombardy. They went down Lombardy to Highland to Glenn to Raymond Ave. Alley to Central and were stopped by the Sheriffs office at Johns and Central. They do have property on them but unless it is reported stolen and identified there will be no way to charge them. Officer Rollins can be reached through 706-821-1080. I think we sent these three a message today that you will be followed if you present suspicious behavior. A Milledge Rd home garage was broken into overnight and a pressure washer and chain saw were stolen among other items.
Friday afternoon at 5:17 pm a young black male knocked and rang at my front door. I did not answer. He rang and knocked again, I secured myself in the bedroom and watched from my window as he crossed Central, then turned up Lackman Lane headed west. I alerted my neighbor whose home adjoins that alley. She closed her back door only to see the guy walking by her house eastward. He may have been checking to see who was home and when….
